He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Shelton and Gwendolyn Imagene Chapman (Short); and his brother Claude Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne (Christy Chapman) of Baytown and Jeralisa; his son-in-law Dwayne Stein; his daughter Laurie; his son-in-law Todd Greene; his daughter Kaitlin; his son-in-law Rashad Mannings; his brothers, D. J., Ricky, Clyde and Shelton; and his nephew Colter Chapman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel (1215 E Yeagua St, Groesbeck, TX 76642). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Bremond City Cemetery (16977 FM 46, Bremond, TX 76629).
