Emily Ione Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2019, at the age of 92, Emily Ione Cox (Bremond, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ollie Whittington (Meme) and Clifton Whittington; her close friend Polly Cox; her brother Dean; her children, Don Cox (Sue) of Austin, Sheila Cook (Glenn) of Groveton, Brenda Rizzotto (Paul) of Sugar Land, Linda Binder of Sugar Land and Wanda Henderson of Crosby; and her parents-in-law, Nancy Cox of Spring, LaDon, Bobbie Cox of Pearland, Billy and Brenda Cox of Missouri City. She was also cherished by grandchildren, 29 terrific great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Lifeline Chaplaincy or M. D. Anderson Hospital.
