He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Burgess and Kate Burgess; his aunt Margaret; and his former wife Jan. He is survived by: his children, Jill and Jeff; his wife Dorothy of Bremond; his children, Ginger, Todd, Tate and Trevor; his grandchildren, Jaron, Jasmine, Hailey, Cooper, Caleb, Scarlett, Grace, Katie, Mackenzie, Maddy, Mercer and Corin; his great grandchildren, Brynli, Kyler, Jakyrie, Taylor and Palmer; and his sister Sharon. He is also survived by four nieces.
Prior to his passing, Danny asked that in lieu of flowers anyone desiring to make a gift in his memory send a donation to your local Police Department.
