He is survived by: his wife Jessie Martinez of Breckenridge; his children, Johnny Fernandez (Kimberly) of West Monroe, Louisiana, Angela Cortez of Breckenridge, Texas, Michelle Martinez of Breckenridge and Anna Martinez (Joshua) of Graham, Texas; his grandchildren, Kelsey Fernandez (Kody) of Vernon, Brittany Rosenburg (Andrew) of Newton Falls, Caleb Fernandez of Olney, Jacob Cortez of Breckenridge, Corbin Cortez of Breckenridge, Jasiel Medina of Breckenridge, Ray Cortez (Heather) of Abilene, Xavier Ramirez of Graham and Ella Ramirez of Graham; and his pet Dax. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
