He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Carstens and Marvel Carstens. He is survived by: his wife Shelley; his children, Jonathan Newton (Stepheni), Julie McNett (Kevin) and Bonnie Aughenbaugh (James); his brother Wade Carstens; and his grandchildren, Curry Newton, Chandler, Claire, Cameron David, Taylor, Desiree, Madison Stanley, Ashley, Allison, Lane, Bryson McNett, Alex, Ellen and Isabelle Aughenbaugh.
