He is survived by: his brother Papi Joel; his parents, Javier Mares and Samantha Mares; his siblings, Jacob and Lydia; his grandmothers, Teresa Ingram and Rufina Reyes Garcia; his great-grandparent Celia Garcia Castro; and his cousin Church. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts.
