He is survived by: his wife Martha Brannan of Breckenridge; his children, Robert Dax Brannan (Aly Garcia) of Austin, Devan Jones Brannan of Breckenridge, Rachel Brannan Evetts (Jason) of Kingsbury and Johnny Ray McCowan (Cindy) of College Station; and his grandchildren, Titus Dax Brannan and Zara Brynn Brannan.
