She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Dureen Dodson and Virgil Elza Beasley; her grandson James Sloan Everett, Jr.; her stepfather Bob Sears; and her sister Frances Beasley Ammons.

She is survived by: her daughter Dru Ellen Thompson of Breckenridge, Texas; her husband Patrick W. Thompson of Valentine's Day; her children, Teresa Thompson Everett (Jim) of Breckenridge, Texas and John Patrick Thompson (Margaret) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Sarah Everett Fowler (Jason), Katharine Everett Meuli (Toby), Caroline Everett Jurgensen (Luke), Elizabeth Ann Everett, Rebecca Lafon Everett, Matthew Whitacre Fambro, Travis Conner Fambro, Kate Thompson Newell (Paul), Maggie Anne Thompson, Patrick Whitacre Thompson, II and Liesl Everett LaMar (Luke); her great grandchildren, Hubbard, Esther, Silas, Josiah and Iris Fowler; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Samuel, Cody Everett, Heidi, Dru, Sloan Jurgensen and Oliver Meuli; her sister-in-law Jean Ann Titus; and her half-brother Todd H. Beasley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (101 E Williams St, Breckenridge, TX 76424).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Breckenridge.
