She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newton Evett and Emma Mae Bennett Evett; and her spouse Thomas Willard Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Judy Langrill (Larry) of Graham and Roger Smith (Sue) of Graham; her sister Alma Oliphant of Lamarque; her grandchildren, Misty Ford (Dana), Thomas Harris, Tiffany Armstrong, Ryan Smith (Grace) and Michelle Booher; and her great grandchildren, Lacee Ford, Emma Ford, Gracy Mae Faith Harris, Kristin Taylor, Trent Taylor, Caroline Armstrong, Jack Armstrong and Harrison Armstrong. She is also survived by five great-great grandchildren.
