It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Thurman of Breckenridge, Texas, born in Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bacel Thurman and Lennie Marie Whittington Thurman; and his siblings, Ellis, Alvis, Linnley, Franky and Loretta.
He is survived by: his wife Karon Thurman; his children, Bobby Thurman (Roberta), Steve Thurman and Glenda Vidamo; and his stepchildren, Glenda Stanley (John), Jeffery Ackers, William Griffin (Tammy) and Scott Griffin (Gena). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morehart Mortuary - Breckenridge (1101 W Walker St, Breckenridge, TX 76424). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
