She was predeceased by: her parents, A. K. Matthies and Alma Matthies (Riggs); her husband Lawrence G. Markham; her children, Lawrence Wayne Markham, Michael Dean Markham (Vickie), Larry Don Markham and Lois Ann Markham Steenburgen; and her grandson Charles Markham.
She is survived by: her son Terry Lynn Markham (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Jan Markham; and her grandchildren, Chris, Daniel, Jeff, Lori, Mark, Katie, Bonie, Ali, Kara and Stephanie. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the 1st Baptist Church (111 N McKinley Ave, Rotan, TX 79546). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
