He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mooney Jr. and Lillian Mooney (Jean). He is survived by: his sons, Jason Eugene Mooney and Nathan Ashton Mooney (Lydia); his grandchildren, Emma Louise, Augustus Beau Mooney, Julia Kate and Ernest Eugene "Ernie" Mooney; and his brothers, Jim Mooney and Jack Mooney (Sandra).
