She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Shelton; her parent Mildred LaPlant; and her siblings, Leona, Sharon, Rita, Donna, Eula, Lois, Lynn, Dennis, Bud, Wayne and Wanda.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Lenting of Brazoria, Jerry Shelton, Jr. (Melisa) of Angleton and Jeanette Davis (James DeLaCruz) of Cypress; her grandchildren, Todd Lenting (Courtney Carter-Gideon), Leigha Lenting (Corey Boren), Jerry Shelton, III, Emma Lenting and Ashley Davis; her great grandchildren, Emery, Zane, Ella Basham, Atticus Gideon and Aries Lenting; and her brother Jerry. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
