She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie W. Hayes; and her daughters, Roberta Stommel and Patricia Guarino. She is survived by: her sister Sue Gail Hanean; and also Nancy Rednour. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dixon Funeral Home of Brazoria At (1211 S Brooks St, Brazoria, TX 77422). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Tabernacle Church (221 E Texas St, Brazoria, TX 77422).
