He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Meyerdirk and Eleanora Pless Meyerdirk; his brother Gerald Meyerdirk; and his grandson Eugene "Trey" Long, III. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Janell Meyerdirk of Brazoria; and his children, Bailee Meyerdirk of Bay City, Melinda Farris of Brazoria and William Meyerdirk (Kathy) of Brazoria. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
