He was predeceased by: his father Glenford Strother; and his grandparents, Babe, Daisy Strother, Calvin Lee and Frances Tooke McPherson.
He is survived by: his mother Jewel McPherson Charry (RJ Charry); his wife Shelia Diane Strother; his children, Jessica Daigle of Brazoria, Renee Brett of Brazoria, Jarrod Glen Strother and Mitch Johnson of Monroeville, AL; his siblings, Sharon Strother Parks (Commander Jeff Parks, USN) of Lakeside, CA, Rhonda Strother Clark (Will Clark) of Angleton and Charles Lee Strother (Pamela Strother) of Brazoria; and his close friends, Troy Roundtree of Brazoria, James "Lumpy" White of Brazoria and Lonnie Truitt. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dixon Funeral Home (1211 S Brooks St, Brazoria, TX 77422). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
