She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Easter Lilly Wilson (Melvin Hibler); and her siblings-in-law, W. H. (Dub), Betty Buchanan, Wade Buchanan, Barry Finch and Jackie Reid.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Heidaker (Lake Jackson) and Kurt Buchanan (Brazoria); her grandsons, Collin Heidaker (Dallas) and Nolan Heidaker (Lake Jackson); her close friend Roy Buchanan (Brazoria); and her half-sisters, Pat Williams and Gail Wilson (Tennessee). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers Doris would like a donation to the SPCA.
