He is survived by: his parents, Alan Thornton and Nancy Thornton; his wife Barbara Buford; his grandmother Barbara Thornton; his children, Wesley Thornton and Maysie Thornton; his siblings, Jennifer Thomas (Cory), Jason Mikulec of Brazoria, Cory Thornton of Brazoria, John Harris and Richwood; and his close friends, Andrew McDonald and Cirk Camfield. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
