It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Hershey Bernight of Brashear, Texas, born in Midland, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Hershey and Evelyn Hershey (Seymore); and her son Michael Ray Hershey. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Bernight of Brashear, Texas; her children, Nicholas Reeves and Amanda Johnston; her grandchildren, Kaylee Nichole Brooks of Paris, Lori Allen of Burleson, Macailynn Green of Dallas and Celeste Young of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and her siblings, Lowry Hershey of Amarillo, Rhea Lynn Samuelson of Denton and Holly Phillips of Sulphur Springs, Texas.. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murray - Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seymore Cemetery.
