He was predeceased by: his mothers, Ruby Earl and Gertrude Smith (Moss); his wife Diana Smith; his son David James; his sisters, Edna and Bettie Lou; and his grandson Robert Castleberry.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Harrington of Brashear, Kevin Harrington (Kay) of Dike and Roger James Jr. (Michele) of Austin, Nevada; his nephews, Jimmy Joslin (Robin) and Lee Joslin; his grandchildren, Josh Harrington (Stacie), Kali Harrington, Michael James (Julie), Amanda James, Amanda Ellis (Tom) and Vivian Beasley (Garrett); and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Mack, Brody, Nicholas, Melina, Jacob, Harper and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murray - Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
