She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Smith Vanderveer and Lovie Olivia Doom Vanderveer; her daughter Deborah Ferguson; her granddaughter Allyssa Jefferson (Ally); her great grandchildren, Taylor Morris (Shelle), Kailey Hyatt and Hunter Jefferson; her great great grandchildren, Dadre Morris, Karsen Morris, Audrey Gray and Halen Morris; her husband Richard "R. L."; and her daughter Marsha Kay Nestor.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donation in Betty's honor be made to your local Animal Shelter.
