She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Peterson and Anna Bertha Peterson (Wellington); her husband Earnest Sephus; her former husband Paul Garner; her son Robert Sephus; her siblings, Ruby Ann Burnett, Gracie Lee Williams, Amie Dell Lott, Ruben "Cat" Peterson, Robert Peterson, Sherman Peterson and John "Peter" Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ruth Peterson, Mary Jo Peterson, Jackie Peterson, Pete Lott and Alfred Williams.
She is survived by: her children, William Sephus (Linda) and Karen Beachum (Raymond, Sr.) of Clovis, NM; her brothers, Samuel Peterson (Nell) and Carl Peterson (Grace) of El Paso, TX; her grandchildren, Troy Sephus (Lori) of Round Rock, TX, Kelah Thomas (Willie) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Meka Matthews (Patrick) of Katy, TX, Devin Sephus of Avondale, AZ, Cedrick Sephus of Brady, TX, Kanisha Hundley (Aaron) of Lubbock, TX, Natasha Beachum (LaQuitrel Bruce) of Las Cruces, NM and Raymond Beachum, II (Karla) of Clovis, NM; and her great grandchildren, NyShae Perkins, MyNeka Sephus, Troy Sephus, Jr., Brianna Perkins, Alyssa Perkins, Tavian Grose of Dominique, Matthews, Christopher Thomas, Tahreon Adams, Nyra Sephus, Kimani Sephus, Anaya Sephus, Lydia Hundley, Savannah Hundley, Titus Hundley, Madalynn Beachum, Naevia Beachum and Reigna Beachum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She served on the Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital Board of Directors for a decade, the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
