He was predeceased by: his mother Paula Menchaca; his wife Frances Garza; and his son-in-law Wayne. He is survived by: his daughter Angie Carson of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Chris Solis (Shawna Fields), Chris Carson (Maggie) and Lee Ann Manire (Keith); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Carson of Adrian Solis, C. J, Kaden Solis, Elwood Manire, Christopher Solis, Jr., Milo Carson, Ellyana Solis and Michael Boggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leatherwood Memorial Chapels-Brady (1001 S Elm St, Brady, TX 76825). A rosary was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (406 S Bridge St, Brady, TX 76825).
