Nellie Barrera Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2021, at the age of 86, Nellie Barrera of Brady, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amarante Rubio and Florencia M. Rubio (Morin); and her sister Maria DeLaLuz. She is survived by: her husband Tino Barrera; her children, Raymond R. Barrera (Lorna) of Round Rock, TX, Daniel R. Barrera of Mason, TX, Dolores Young (James) of Austin, TX, Tina M. Selvera (Robert) of Brady, TX, Cynthia M. Torres (Phillip) of Brady, TX and Becca Torres (James) of Bastrop, TX; and her siblings, Lorenzo Rubio (Rosa) of Brady, TX, Raymond Rubio (Lupe) of San Angelo, TX, Juan Rubio of Keller, TX, Estolia Torrez of Brady, TX and Jessie Mata (Mario) of Brady, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and several very special friends.
