She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry O'Mealy and Marguerite O'Mealy (McCann); her husband Tom Jones Sammons; and her sister Shirlee Bell O'Mealy Nicholson. She is survived by: her daughter Bernice Lee Washburn (John) of Kerrville; her grandsons, Samuel (Alessandra) and Jess Washburn; her son Tom J. Sammons (Luanne) of Brady; her grandchildren, Sterling (Jessica), Luke (Bethany) and Travis Sammons (Shay); her son Larry O. Sammons (Camille) of Brady; her grandsons, Brandon (Kristen), Patrick (Mary) and Clayton Sammons (Jessamy); and her great grandchild Benjamin Koy Sammons.
The Sammons family requests the use of face coverings and social distancing to protect and honor those who are at risk, at the funeral home, graveside and at church.
