He was predeceased by: his parents, John Emerson Laurenson Sr. and Florence Elizabeth Penney; his brother Donald; his former wife Laureen; and his daughters, Charlene and Johnna.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Laurenson; his daughter Jeanna Laurenson (Anthony Holden); his sister Joy Garrett; his grandchildren, Nathan Laurenson (Michelle), John Waltman (Adriana), Ryan Hood (Nola) and Destiny Holden; and his great grandchild Caitlin Laurenson. He is also survived by family members and lifelong friends.
