Herb Cavness Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herb Cavness of Brady, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cavness and Ethel Kitty Cavness (Eaker); his wives, Leona McMillan Cavness of London, Francis Sellman Cavness and Theresa Sewell Cavness; and his brother James Caviness.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Nixon of Texas City, Texas and Don Cavness (Jackie Easterday) of Santa Fe, NM; and his grandchildren, Glen Nixon (Pavinee) of Texas City, Ken Cavness of Waterford, MI, Misty Primera (Miguel) of Tulsa, OK and Rod Cavness (Jana) of Mertens, Texas. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
