He was predeceased by: his parent Sulema Ruiz (Hernandez). He is survived by: his father Robert Ruiz (Sulema Ruiz); his children, Nicholas Ruiz of Brownwood, Jaron Covey of Ft. Worth, Texas and Jackie Galvan (Eddie) of Brownwood, Texas; his sisters, Rosario Nunez (Gary) of Wharton, Frances Gentile (Keith) of San Angelo and Patricia Ruiz (Patrick Garcia) of Brownwood, Texas; and his grandchildren, Olive Ruiz, Otto Ruiz, Jasmine Rivas and Khloe Galvan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
