He was predeceased by: his stepson Corey East; his niece Paige Castillo; his brother-in-law Alex Zapata; and his aunts, Petra Huerta and Melinda Castillo.
He is survived by: his parents, Mauricio M. Castillo and Elodia Castillo (Prendez) of Brady, TX; his wife Renee Castillo of Brady, TX; his children, Andrew East of Brady, TX, Patrick East of Brady, TX and Kylie Castillo (Abraham Acosta) of Dallas, TX; his siblings, Maurice Castillo, Jr. of Brady, TX, Jose Oscar Castillo of Brady, TX, Steven Castillo, Sr. of Brady, TX and Jessica Zapata of Brady, TX; and his grandson Isais Luis Thomas Acosta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
