He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Calvin Ewing and Rua Ewing (Spencer); his daughter April Ewing; his stepson William Richardson; and his brothers-in-law, John Paul Jones and James Leifeste.
He is survived by: his son John Ewing of Brady, Texas; and his siblings, James Ewing of Brady, Texas and Cathy Ewing Jones of Brady, Texas. He is also survived by 2 nephews; 1 niece and many friends.
