He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Conway and Camilla Crump Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jackson; and his children, Cody, Caleb Slaughter of Menard, Jason Hearn, Mikey Farris of Brady, Sheila Clobes of Montana, Carrie Slaughter, Maggie Slaughter Wand of San Antonio and Chelsea Scantlin of Brady. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
