He is survived by: his children, Joyce Powell (Wayne) of North Carolina, Janette Tomlinson (Don) of Brady, Texas, Kenneth Newton (Anne Mahler) of Oregon and John Newton of California; his grandchildren, Jennifer Powell, Kevin Powell, Rachel Powell, Sarah Mahler Newton, Bryan Tomlinson, Robert Tomlinson and Royce Newton; and his great grandchildren, Lucas and Laurel.
