We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2021, at the age of 85, Billie Jean Kvapil Matthiesen (Brady, Texas), born in Rowena, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Kvapil and Caroline Kvapil (Dorotik); her children, Sherrie Lea and Anton Joseph; and her son-in-law Lonnie Kellermeier.
She is survived by: her husband Norbert Matthiesen of Brady; her children, Deborah Neal (David) of San Angelo, Teresa Lawrence of Brady, Charlotte Weishuhn (Karl) of Wall, Denise Jordan of Llano, Melissa Kellermeier of Mereta, Michael Matthiesen of Ballinger, Galen Matthiesen and Jackie of Andrews; her grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Leigh Ann, Branan, Larat, Trey, Slade, Chase, Paige, Dustin, Gavin, Cierra, Karli, Koy, Korby and Kriss; and her brothers, Howard Gene Kvapil (Dorothy) of San Angelo, Texas and Frank D. Kvapil (Karen) of San Antonio, Texas.. She is also survived by her twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Matthiesen Seminary Burse, in memory of Billie Jean Matthiesen.
