We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2021, at the age of 72, Armando Mata Sr. of Brady, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Mata and Elvira Mata (Sedillo); and his son Paul Lee Mata. He is survived by: his wife Janie Martinez of Brady, Texas; his children, Armando "Chacho" Mata, Jr. (Jeannie) of Grapevine, Moses Mata of Brady, Texas, Mary Brooks (Christopher) of Temple and Paula Chevalier (Kenneth) of Killen, Texas; his siblings, Gilbert Mata of Brady, Mario Mata (Jesse) of Brady, Tony Mata (Brenda) of Brady, Texas, Janie Quintero (Danny) of Brady and Armanda Quinterro (Frank) of Brady, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Letecia Borders of Brady, Sylvia Villarreal of Big Spring and Edward Martinez of Biloxi, Mississippi.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.

Everyone is requested to wear face masks coverings during all services.
