He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Garcia and Magdalena Garcia; and his great grandchild Ariana Garcia Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Solis; his children, Robert Garcia (Brenda) of Bryan, Rickey Garcia (Stella) of Bryan, Alex Garcia (Hope) of Bryan, Texas, Inez Garcia of Bryan and Mary Lou Garcia of Bryan, Texas; his stepchildren, Joe Solis (Lisa) of Brady, Eddie Solis (Sandra) of Brady, Texas, Norma Muniz of Brady, Sandra Manriquez (Johnny Chapoy) of Abilene, Melba Solis (David Keller) of Brady, Lisa Rodriguez (Gene) of Uvalde and Monica Calderon (George) of Brady, Texas; and his sisters, Ester Menchaca of Brownfield, Elida Lujan of Sweetwater, Delia Constancio of Blanco and Alberta "Birdie" Burnett of May, Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leatherwood Memorial Chapels (1001 S Elm St, Brady, TX 76825). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Leatherwood Memorial Chapels-Brady (1001 S Elm St, Brady, TX 76825). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (406 S Bridge St, Brady, TX 76825).
