She was predeceased by: her parents, Esteban Moreno and Paula Meza. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Floyd Newton of Brackettville; her children, Guillermo (Amber Avendano) of Troy, Carlos Aleman of Waco, Grace Rovillos of Rockwall and Tania (Chris Olivarri) of Waco; and her grandchildren, Carlos Aleman, Adrian Aleman, Ivan Aleman, Elijah Rovillos, Ashley Drott, Anastasia Olivarri, Isabelle Olivarri, Kaelynn Avendano and Jackie Olivarri. She is also survived by one great granddaughter and three great grandsons.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home (424 Geraldine St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (301 S Ann St, Brackettville, TX 78832).
