He is survived by: his wife Regina Bruce (Jones); his children, Angela Bruce, LeaAnn Vanderlei (Jason) and James Nickels (Emma); his grandchildren, Haylee McCord (Ben), Hannah Holcemback, Kristina Vanderlei, Sarah Vanderlei and Danielle Vanderlei; his great grandchildren, Zephyr Johnson and Juluis McCord; and his sisters, Judy Anderson (Wendall) and Gaynelle Bramblett (Russell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
