He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kennedy Andress and Clara Andress (Hale); his wife Avis Elaine Andress; his children, William "Eugene" Andress, Kimberly Andress and Cindy Smith; and his siblings, Leroy Andress, Robert Andress and JoAnn Boyett.

He is survived by: his children, Angie Brown (Derek) of Saginaw Tx, Amanda René Grant (Anthony) of Paradise Tx, Sean Andress (Khristal) of Boyd Tx and Bud Smith of Boyd Tx; and his grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Sherri, Brittany, Juston, Jessica, Brendan, Joshua, Courtney, Brooklyn, Aubrey, Ryland, Autumn, Clara and Austin.
