It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Shepherd of Boyd, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Allen and Mary Ione Allen (Crump); her husband Jack Shepherd; her sons, Wayne and Gary Shepherd; and her siblings, Don Allen and Gurene Monday.
She is survived by: her children, Leann Pierce (Rusty) of Fort Worth and Kenny Shepherd (Dorothy) of Boyd; her daughter-in-law Lou Shepherd of Fort Worth; and her grandsons, John, Brant, Clint, Kenneth, Jr. and Justin. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
