She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellison "Pete" Davidson and Sally Lillian Davidson (Atkins); her husband Daniel Sampson; her son Tommy Ray Sampson (Tammette) of Rhome; and her siblings, John Wayne Davidson, Billy Don Davidson, Ellison "Red" Davidson, E. J. Davidson and Mary Herron.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Sampson (Laquetta) of Decatur and Carolyn McEntire (Jerry) of Boyd; and her siblings, James Davidson (Nelda), Helen Dunn, Patsy Young (Joe) of Van Alstyne and Peggy Ros. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
