It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mathes (Boyd, Texas), born in Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blain and Katheryn Margaret Hansen Maddux; her husband Clarence Delmar Mathes; and her sons, Donald Ray and Danny Marvin Mathes.

She is survived by: her children, Clayton Derald Mathes, Dwayne Dee Mathes (Carol), Douglas Lee Mathes, Dale Leroy Mathes (Cheryl) and Donna Marie Alexander (Gary). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
