He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dean Vess and Valerie Payne Vess (Adams) of Boyd; his wife Scheryl Vess of Boyd; his children, Kati Vess, Ashtyn Evans, Ramee Denham, Tori Banard and Jared Allen; his grandchildren, J. J., River, Rylan and Maverick; his brothers, Dandy Wilson (Tatia) of Boyd and Terry Wilson (Johanna) of Decatur; and his grandparents, Joyce and Ted Payne of Decatur. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
