He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Alley (Henry) and Lonzell "Bill" Alley; his brothers, Tommy and Lonnie Alley; his nephew DeWayne Alley; and his pets, Rowdy and Rascal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shawna Gathings (William) of Boyd and Misty Schwingendorf (Jeff) of Liberty Hill; his grandchildren, William Gathings (Laura) of Athens, Greece, Dylan Gathings (Kelly) of Boyd, Jordan Schwingendorf of Phoenix and Alexa Schwingendorf of Liberty Hill; his great grandchildren, Temperance, Samuel, Paislee, Etta and Katherine; and his sister Betty Alley of Azle.
