Wesley Warren Robbins Obituary
Wesley Warren Robbins, 52, of Bowie passed away at 5:17 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2020, in Decatur. He was born February 7, 1968 to Windol Wayne Robbins, Sr. and Barbara Jean (Wade) Robbins, in the small town of, Will's Point. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1987 and then joined the United States Army. Once he completed basic training, he was then stationed in Fayetteville, NC at Ft. Bragg, home of 82nd Airborne Division and served in The Invasion of Panama. After serving his country, Wes began his life as a truck driver, eventually establishing his own company; Bowie Transport Services, INC. He had a passion for shooting guns, racing four-wheelers and playing drums. Most of all, he loved spending time with his girls, and taking random road trips "just 'cause.". Wes is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Bell, stepfather, R.E." Bob" Bell, Jr., sister, Pamela "Pam" Shaw and stepmother, Lupe Robbins. Wes is survived by his fiancé, Tawana Cothran; father, Windol Wayne Robbins Sr.; daughters, Leslie Rose Robbins, Alexis "Lou- Lou" Robbins and Wendy Nicole Correa; brother, Windol Robbins and wife, Betty; sister, Angie Mayfield and husband, Joe; granddaughters, Remington Leeann and Hadley Grace Denise Romines; nephew, Johnny Arnn and wife, Brandi; numerous other nieces and nephews and extended family.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m., November 13, 2020 at Lighthouse Assembly of God, located at 2998 Hwy. 59 North Bowie, TX 76230. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
All flowers need to be delivered to the church on Friday.
