He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Byas and Doris Byas; and his siblings, Charlie Byas, Larry Weldon Byas and Zona Sue Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Byas of Bowie; his son Kyle Byas of Bowie; his grandson Graham Byas; his brother Jeff Byas (Mary) of Richardson; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Byas, Larry Byas, Jade Byas, Bailey Young (Klay) and Parker Kate Young. He is also survived by many cousins, numerous other nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
