He was predeceased by: his wife Inez Adams; his parents, Thomas Adams and Vertie Adams; and his siblings, Dale Adams, James Adams, Thomas Adams Jr., Lee Adams, Skeeter Price and Joyce Shurbet.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki McDaniel (Larry) of Bowie, Velda Bates (Allen) of Decatur and Vonda Hood (Len) of Sunset; and his sisters, Ruth Miller of Bridgeport and Mary Newman of Henrietta. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren.
