He was predeceased by: his parents, Orth Yowell and O'Dessa Yowell (Kilpatrick); his wife Jean Yowell; his brother Jon Yowell; his daughter Ceean Harried; his grandchildren, Steven Stout and Tyshonda Pearson; and his great grandchild Madison Grider.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelia Lawrence (Euless); his daughter-in-law Jeaninne Yowell; and his children, Jana Gilmore (Ronnie), Donald Croxton, Sheila Owens and Jaye Lyn van Acht (Vincent). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with any other child.
