She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Vinyard and Myrtle Vinyard (New); and her husband Ervin Lyon. She is survived by: her sons, Danny Lyon (Tina) of Bowie and Joe Lyon of Bowie; her grandchildren, Anna Lyon of Bowie, Cory Lyon (Brittany) of Quitaque, TX, Paige Lyon (Jack Anderson) of Bowie and Bailey Lyon (Catherine) of Graham, TX; and her sisters, Patsy Salter (Glenn) of Lubbock, TX and Martha Turnbow (Lynn) of Gatesville, TX. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Family Funeral Home (1418 TX-59, Bowie, TX 76230).
