She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Brinkley Jr. of Bowie and Sherry Roper of Gatesville, TX; her grandchildren, Michael Brinkley, David Brinkley and Margaret Sally Brinkley; and her siblings, Mary Roberts of Bowie and Charles Norman Sr. (Kathy) of Buffalo Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.
