He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Peters and Patsy Ruth Peters (Whitehurst); and his sister Mary Peters. He is survived by: his siblings, Pam Goett (Dennis), Kathy McCullough (Peters), Mark Peters (Kim) and Suzanne Cranford (Danny); and his children, Amy Peters, Laura Black (AJ), John Michael Peters, Nicole Alford (Jimmy) and Sherryll Thigpen (Daniel). He is also survived by 4 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
